I got an email back from the seller. This is one of the photos of the football. I asked if the signatures were faded and he replied saying that's how they came.

Tell me what you think.

I will get a picture late tonight. The 2k is the price I would have to pay if he were to sell it to me but, we are trading.

Ok. Just trying to make sure you don't trade a bunch of stuff for a low quality or possibly fake ball. But if the COA is legit, then you should be good.

Yeah, thanks for reminding me that. I do appreciate it that you're giving me the tips so I don't dig myself into a hole. I think it's legit.

Also, this guy lives down the coast from me and it's a few hours drive away. Is it possible to trade through the post?

I did a little bit of research and found out it is worth around 2k.

That's good for my first barter; don't you think?

I would get it checked out if possible beforehand. $2K for a football is a lot. The condition of the signatures will matter, and if it has no paperwork authenticating it, then the prices drops considerably. There's a lot of factors with sports memorabilia that can make it tricky. And that $2K number...is that the asking price or the sold price?

On the email, he said he has COA.

I'm thinking of bartering with this guy who has a signed 2010  Team of the century football. It has all living members of team of the century.

Before I make the trade, I was wondering the price of the football if you were to buy it. Thanks
