a book of the 1623 shakespeare  play ''THE TEMPEST.''J.M. Dent & Sons, London, 1912. 4 x 5.25. Hardcover The red cover has a gilt shield with a bird holding arrows; the title is on the spine in gilt. The corners and edges have shelf wear, the top edge is gilt. The endpapers are aged with the name of a former owner in pen also the original shield in back in gold with "Non Sans Droict" written under it. The frontispiece is of Shakespeare and still has the tissue attached; the interior is clean, the original ribbon place marker is still attached and there was a calling card in the book which will go with the book. There is slight cracking to the spine at page 4, but it is holding fine with the binding string. 118pp which include the glossary and notes.
