KC..I am sure of it!  I kept thinking of this post all day in the studio.....
I just thank God...that these kind of Vac,s.were,nt about when i hit puberty....who knows what might have happened.... ;D

What kind of reason could one give for going to a DR with this....ahem....mal ady?  (Not to mention dragging the hose along...)

"I was playing Necked Twister in the dark with the maid...."  or better...

"Well, Doc, I was cleaning up the shop this morning and after all that coffee nature called.  Being what I thought was resourceful and clever...two birds with one rock kinda thing.....so I thought why not?  After all, it is a WET/DRY vac!"

: ;D this vacuum cleaner can suck a budgie off its perch...

Well, that is sure different than "will suck the chrome off a tow ball"....Wullie, your humor is just this side of devious.....I can't seem to stay away!  Well, who doesn't need a great laugh daily?

KC, it does paint a great bunch of images...Wullie could be a reality TV show by himself (of course they would have to have Avril at hand to keep him reined in a little...

Rauville, well, looks like it'll be about a year before he tries it again  ;)

I just thank God...that these kind of Vac,s.were,nt about when i hit puberty....who knows what might have happened.... ;D
 Just can't say it.....just can't......

Thanks for the laughs all....will keep me company in the studio  ;)

Thank that dear woman of yours for me Wullie.....she sure is/has a keeper  ;)
Glad I didn't have to put those shoes on...can't run well in my Birks!

Cute poster....I wonder what my cats do all day while I am out in the studio....

Sapphire, you really are a gem  ;)  Well, if Avril laughs that hard it'll give me a head start!

Thanks, I just loved this chest as soon as I saw it...it is SO nice to know some history on it! I'm glad
I turned down the $1K offer....it is worth a lot more to me just to be able to enjoy it longer!

Ok, gotta get my running shoes on before Wullie gets back.....plus headed out to studio to blow glass today...back later!

My opinion of Wullie is smart, sweet, wry (and dry, love it), and just plain adorable

OMG! Can't wait for him to read this!! Better yet, can't wait till Avril sees it.......I REALLY want to hear her response!   :D

Ya know we love ya Wullie!! (BTW, you got that new house in order yet??)

UH oh....don't want his lass to hunt me down!

6
And really, Wullie is more like a big marshmallow........ with a coating of crushed glass.

Ah, Sapphire....you had me at "coating of crushed glass", no wonder I like Wullie so much!

7
buddie...
I though you were going to say  "I would take my foot............ out of my mouth".....hmmm.....

We've had over a foot of snow here this year as well as 90" of rain...but blowing glass keeps the cold away as well as the top-notch Willamette Valley Pinot Noir!

My opinion of Wullie is smart, sweet, wry (and dry, love it), and just plain adorable, thank goodness for differences of opinion!

8
mart....perfect analogy!
Wullie.... I must say you are a sweet chap, chivalry doesn't go unnoticed by me...  ;)....thank you much!

9
Rauville, love that quote!
KC and mart...thanks!
Wullie....hope you feel better!  ;)

Whoops, so sorry Buddie....I didn't mean to pull everyone off the subject!  It really has been fun, super informative and I am sorry if they missed posting information you may have needed!
I just really was hoping to get a little information on the chest...but these folks here are super knowledgeable and I am very grateful!

The humor here is priceless, I feel like I made some new friends!  This is the only piece I have that I just had no clue about so I am pretty sure
this will be the last "epic" debate I start!

Thanks and hugs to all!

mart...dead center on Oregon coast, the "other" (not famous) South Beach...about 1/8 mile from beach.

Rauville, thanks for the key info, great idea filing it down!  As far as the reality TV..I've seen worse shows...at least I would watch this one, lol!
As Wullie said...."The Wellington Chest Saga of "'12-'13", and so on the saga goes.....it might actually make for a great show!

KC, WOW...ok, I will not complain about our tiny golf ball sized hail...that is an amazing picture!

Wullie, when I lived in Vegas (yeah, yuck!) we used mesquite wood for BBQ...actually pretty tasty...hate the fake smoke flavors!

It has been so rainy here trees are literally falling down with huge root balls lifting up from ground!  I now have a natural pond...full of ground water.  Not as pretty as the koi pond (which stays nice and full here...) my guess is 90" this year, well over our average!

This is a riot...I love it!

mart, I VERY much appreciate everyone's questions and opinions, I am such a novice but know what appeals to me! Everyone here has been so kind, so informative, and the humor...well...that is the best part!   ;D

Thanks Wullie...will be very gentle, there's no rush ;)  Don't know that I'll take a lock off....scared to even removed a screw!  But will oil the screws with cotton bud and put a little in locks!

mart, sure wish you could see it in person....so hard to get decent pics of smaller stuff!

15
Rauville, lol!  Wish I'd known you when I was buying pieces!
mart, yes, what I thought...don't want to ruin that horrible finish, hahaha!
Ok, I will bring the one I have that's too big and that way I can guess what will fit.
You folks are awesome!
