Thank you all for the responses, even if you did wind up disappointing me!

I posted these pics on another site and got this answer, for those who want to know more about these tapestries:

Tapestries like this were made in Belgium or France and generally post date 1890. Most tapestries like this post date World War One and were made for the Tourist market. Values for examples that are faded and worn are very modest at under $150.00 at auction.


Oh well, at least I don't have to wonder about it anymore.

Hi all, first time poster

My dad bought this tapestry at a flea market about 35 years ago and we know nothing about how old it is or where it's from. We think it might be valuable though, because it looks ancient and some time obviously went into making it. Any information about this kind of art at all would be appreciated.
