Antique Questions Forum / Brass Floor Lamp Stand M.S.L 2353
« on: April 06, 2013, 06:09:11 am »
Hi,
I am trying to identify the Makers Mark M.S.L 2353 and Date range on a Brass Floor Lamp Stand. I have researched and found similar lamps made by the Mutual Sunset Lamp Co. but they all have M.S.L.C engraved on the bottom and look very similar. Do you know if M.S.L was used by Mutual Sunset during a specific time period / date range or if this lamp stand was made by a different company?

Antique Questions Forum / Murano Glass Venini Wall Sconce
« on: April 04, 2013, 08:55:15 am »
Good Morning All,
After alot of research and contacting a local lighting shop that confirmed this is a Murano Glass Sconce. I have found this to be made by Venini but I am unable to narrow the date range. I have found similar sconces that date from the 1960s to 1980s. the Scone Measurements are Height= 12" Width= 8" Length= 16 1/2" the glass is heavy and measures 3/8' thick.  Thank You for any information you can provide.

Hello,
I have done some research on the pictured 101/2" Platter and Cream & Sugar Set and believe they are Anchor Hocking but am not positive so I am looking for verification and Pattern name if known. I have had several glass china pieces packed away for many years and am starting my spring cleaning despite the weather today.

I have looked several times for any kind of writing or markings and unable to locate any. Also there are no signs of a sticker or tags ever being attached anywhere.

The table hasn't been altered in any way since I have owned it. I received it from an Estate along with items from the 30s and 40s most of them were from Occupied Japan and Germany. You could be correct about the 70s period though since the original owner passed in 1980.

Hi, I have owned this table for approximately 20 years and have been unsuccessful in finding any information about it... except it could "possibly" be from India (Due to the Star Design under glass)

Wood Table with Mother of Pearl Inlaid under Glass
Copper or Brass
Colors are Cream Green Gold Silver
Measurements are Top: 2' X 2'  Height: 27"
Table is taller than a traditional end table
