Antique Questions Forum / Amalfi – Italian Hand Painted Rooster Platter
« on: November 06, 2015, 06:07:08 pm »
Trying to get an idea of what this item might be worth. Is it very collectable etc. It's hand painted and marked Amalfi made in Italy on back. The width measures about 17".

Thanks for any info.

Nice piece. You aren't in a real dry climate but I wouldn't think that some light oiling would hurt?

Hard to say and harder to confirm. Even harder to say what they could be worth???

Like I mentioned all copper, vintage but not antique. They are from Africa. Just wanted to see if anyone knew of this artist and had and idea of the worth.  The size is roughly 12 x 4 inches.

Thanks for any info.

They only knew what they where telling me. Which wasn't much.

They had nothing to back-up what they where asking for the vases.

So I took a pass  ;)
