I found a hand held fan the other day mounted in a case and figured, what the heck, I could edumakate myself on these ;)  I've spent a lot of time doing some research and it would appear that finding another vintage fan like it on the internet is virtually impossible.  So far I "think" this is what I have:

- 1970's Fashion/Wedding fan
- Hand painted on silk
- Molded plastic (Found a #4 on a slat)

It appears that it has been signed by L.......L lol.  I assume this isn't the maker rather, the person who painted it.  My guess that it is worth $ 15 - $ 40.  What do you think?

That's what I was thinking.  I found these at an estate sale and they couldn't tell me anything about them.  My "best guess" is that they could be from Mexico, possible bought in the 70's from a shop owner.  It does sort of look like an old Aztec monument...

Searched the internet for this one with no luck.  Anyone know who it may be?  Thank you.

Thank you for the input.  I found a set like it.  One is stamped with the L and one is not. The "L" bottle is the only one that has a spout too.  The L must be there to distinguish which one to put oil in and which one to put vinegar in.  I assume this is the oil bottle.

Could be an "L" or is it just a valve mark, I'm not sure.  The "L" surely isn't perfect by any means.  Most Milk Glass bottles/vases have a flat bottom as well.  Topper appears old with the cork showing age.  I've tried to find a circled "L" maker mark but have come up with nothing.  I don't believe Libbey made a bottle such as this so I've ruled them out.  I can't verify if W.J.Latchford Glass Company (1925-38') or their subsequent companies made milk glass.  Since it has a small spout, I'd assume it's something like an oil bottle, not a perfume bottle (Doen't smell like it). Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

Perfume bottle you ask... O.K. here's a stupid question.... Did you smell it?  Usually if perfume was in it the scent lasts decades.

The Eagle head alone sells for $40 shipped. So I made up my $ on just one cane which is nice.  In all I have $5-$7 into each of them so I'm not complaining... :)

I have a molded off-white resin claw (Dragon/beast claw) cane where the 1" brass tip, when unscrewed and removed unvails only woden threads, no metal whatsoever.  How old is it?

I believe they used several throughout the years.  Again, it has been double punched so "clearer" isn't going to happen but I'll try

Well, it does have a crack in it right near the handle on mostly the mold... but an awesome looking piece nonetheless. :)
