The Dirthbay banner is cool. Would be great for a 40th or 50th birthday party. Where did you get it?

I have tried to use the translators sites online but I can not type these characters or copy and paste them. I have searched the different keyboards available online and from Microsoft to find these characters but have not found them. So I have been searching and questioning at sites like this one where I can show some pictures. Thanks for all the looks and help.

Is just the globe and a simple lamp socket. Hangs just from the power cord out of the back of the lamp socket. Is paper or cloth that is painted with a wire frame. the Chinese Lanterns I have seen have horizontal wire this piece is vertical wire frame.

Agree that this has more than one language on it!

Can you please advise if this is a hanging lamp/lantern?  If it fits on a pedestal/table lamp?
Please post a picture of the entire piece

That is the entire piece. This is a hanging lamp and its is a simple light socket inside of a lantern type globe about 18" wide and 16" tall. Wire backed with painted cloth or paper cover. Found at an estate sale in an upscale area. I was unable to talk with any family members due to a hosted estate sale.
