Sorry. Another source told me to check with light to ascertain whether it was porcelain.

Pitcher is not porcelain. No light shone through when held up to a bright light source.

Pictures which hopefully show more detail.

Pitcher was bought in an antique shop around London, ON. No information was available about the history of the pitcher.

We have an old water pitcher (stamped "Germany" on the bottom). The pitcher is turquoise, black and white and has a distinctive all-over pleating (not fluting). It's tall and the handle is very geometric. The pitcher has "Germany" stamped under the glaze on the bottom and has no other markings. We are wondering if the pitcher is very old or if it has any value. Internet searches have come up with nothing that is even remotely similar in design. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers, Anna
