And adding to what Mart said: Unless you have a retail store with the floor space to display it and wait for the right customer, you are at the mercy of the market at the moment. If I owned it, I'd use it and enjoy it. (In fact, I think I still have some shirts that would match it. :D)

ha!  Good one!

I'm sure I could post it in craigslist  and  get a  few interested,  love that site!

I  think I'll use it though,  if my hubby and roommate can get over calling it grandma's couch. I  think it's an awesome piece!

At least I  got a  bargain! I  liked the couch and then saw the price tag,  couldn't turn it down. I appreciate all your wonderful help Mart!

Is Simmons a brand then that isn't worth much despite it's age?

Of course, I  never thought it was worth a lot though! I only payed 30  for it at  goodwill and figured goodwill might not really know it's worth.  Being in such wonderful shape I  figured I  could get more than that for it!

I  couldn't find any simmons  couches for sale anywhere though to figure what it was worth,  and mid century  pieces are pretty pricy on our local craigslist.

I would love to get it recovered,  but reupholstering  this couch would cost more than it's worth.

You aren't being very helpful,  just because I  didn't pay  much doesn't mean it isn't worth much,  and I  never thought it's worth tons of money.  I'd appreciate only  helpful answers to my original questions.

Yes, I  know that still exist I  just thought a 60s  sofa in perfect shape might be worth something.

I  live near Sacramento,  California. I  didn't pay  much for  it. I  was planning on keeping it unless it's worth a  lot.

Yes they are! Any  idea of it's worth? I can't seem to find any for sale  as a bench mark.

I found this gem at goodwill, and am wondering the age and how much it is worth.

I can't find any model numbers on it, just the "109" stamped on each of the inserts under the cushions.

The best I have is that is is from the 1960's based on the logo patents and style of couch. It is not a hide-a-bed, which seems to complicated things.

It is in impeccable condition, no stains, rips, tears, or broken parts. Absolutely lovely pattern that seems to be slightly less vivid in certain locations, but it isn't noticeable unless you really look hard. Both the arm covers are still present as well (although i love the arm shape and wouldn't cover it up!).

Please let me know if you think it is worth anything and how much! Or even what year it is from.
