Antique Questions Forum / 1936/7 English AVERY Beam Scale

A friend of mine saved this from the skip whilst updating a UK chemist shop, He thought (correctly) that it'd be an item that I would appreciate due to the excellent build quality.

It did come with some stacking weights, although no sign of them atm. The photos aren't great but you may be able to see slight tarnishing/pitting on the chromed parts, otherwise the enamel and stainless are very good condition.

I see this is not a big money item and not really looking to sell - I love owning these solidly built beauties which are IMO a real tribute to proper British engineering!
