Antique Questions Forum / Antique drafting tool set?

Need advice guys...i was thinking of buying this set because my father's dad used to use drafting tools for whatever his job was, i thought this would make a nice gift for him, but not sure on the value. What do you guys think? It's item number 230122770663 on ebay.
