I wont pretend to know much about this item, even after researching this piece I am still lost. Here is my best guess though, its either a crock or sugar jar.  The pattern looks like the shape of a heart with possibly the Blue Pennsylvania pattern below it, but as I said before I am unable to find the exact pattern or shape in any of the 400+ current completed ebay listings.  In my opinion it shows a lot of age and has a very dark tone (why I think its salt glazed) so it could even be an earlier piece since I am unable to compare it to anything on their current website. Oh yea it stands about 7" tall.

Any additional information would be super.. Thanks All.

Hello all, I have a McLoughlin 1826 Jack and Jill childrens book and I’m looking for more information on it if possible.

Thought I found it in the McLoughlin Antiquarian Catalogue’ found here:

But my book measures 6.25″ x 8.75″. I know they made different versions of this book that year but would like to have the facts before I tried to sell it.
