Hi Everyone:
I found this in my attic. My house was built in the late 1800's and I'm the third owner. The attic was in very bad shape so it doesn't surprise me that the previous owner didn't sift through it and he left a bunch of stuff up there.
Anyway...from what little info I could find on the internet, this metal sign is most likely from the 1930's. The slogan "Refreshing and Healthful" was used in 1934 and the 2 dashes between "Pepsi" and "Cola" indicates is pre-1951.
It measures about 50 inches tall, and is in very good shape. The picture doesn't show the true color of the sign. It's more of a bright yellow than white. (I took the pic while I was still up in the attic immediately after finding it.)
I saw a similar sign that sold on ebay for $337, but it was in French.
Does anyone know anything about this sign? I'm interested in knowing approximately what it's worth and where/how best to sell it (i.e. ebay or other auction sites, in-person antique shops, etc.).
Thank you for your help. Please let me know if you need additional information or pics.
