I have a Dining Set I purchased from a family that used it only for their holiday dinners. It was in their family a long time, but I can't recall the age or the type of wood. It is huge and heavy!
The typical set-up has the two 33 inch sections of table with one 18" leaf inserted. That is nice for 6 people, with width of 42" and 84" length.
Then it opens for two more leafs and then reaches 120" and seats 10.
Similar to another post, all the is identifying the furniture is a label on seat cushion, Made by Flair Inc Lenoir, NC-- for Hibriten Furniture Company. The date of delivery is blank, and there is a reference "This article is made in compliance with an act of: Dist of Col. approved July 3, 1926.... Also there is LIC. NO. N.Y. 32766 (NC)
Does anyone out there have knowledge of what I might have. I am divorcing and neither of us will have room for it.
It has moved from Fort Collins CO to Austin TX and back. And is still rock solid!
