Hello,

does anybody know what this is? it was found in a hospital collection here in Australia. No makers marks or anyway to identify it.

Can't say I've see anything similar before.

Also I should mention I've tried all the different pottery mark websites I could find and didn't find anything similar to this. Seems like a very vague marking.

Hello
Can anyone help identify this piece.

My grand dad found it at the Reims Cathedral (France) after it was flattened by German forces.

Thankyou!

Hello,

Can anybody tell me anything about these chairs. Haven't come across anything as ornate here in Australia.

They were picked out bush and the owners knew nothing about them. It's hard to tell what type of wood in its current state but guess could be mahogany.

Cheers
Brent

Hey guys,

I picked these two items up at an auction a few months ago. They came from a very famous collection of an auctioneer who collected the weird and the wonderful.
No information was supplied, I know there was a  Bill Strong in the circus scene back in the 30s...I just have no idea what they are exactly, obviously you can stick your head through the holes but as they're only 1 metre tall does that mean they're for kids? Could be they be genuinely from that time period?
If there are any circus experts lend me your wisdom.

Having trouble dating these two pieces.
Very little information on the internet about the companies practices. TVL seems to have been bought out in 1976 and Wilcox Mofflin changed names in 1986, that's all I'm sure about haha
