    *  Location: Chester, West Virginia
    * Products: dinerware
    * Founder(s): John Smith, Charles Taylor, William Taylor, Joseph Lee
    * Dates of operation: 1899 - 1981 (Anchor Hocking owned TS&T from 1971 - 1981)
    * Reason for closure: It has been learned that Anchor Hocking purchased the old TS&T plant as a tax write-off and eventually closed. The plant still stands today but in serious disrepair.

A pic would really help!

    Arthur Wood, Bradwell Works, Longport, Stoke-on-Trent in operation from 1904 to 1928.  From
    1928 to 1989 traded as Arthur Wood & Sons Ltd.  Since 1989 part of Price & Kensington Potteries, Longport.  The company specialised in making teapots.

    Arthur Wood & Son (Longport) PLC can be contacted on 01782 577158.

In the early 1940's the name changed to Arthur Wood and son. Work carried on producing tableware alongside the previous work. In the 1970's ,the company bought up Carltonware only to sell it on again. Arthur Wood and son carried on until sometime in 1989 where the company was bought up by the firm of Price & Kensington.

Initials used on ware for identification:

"Royal Bradwell" is used as a trade name

Such teapots have sold for around 50 dollars as shown here.

That's really interesting. If I may ask how did you get/find/buy/ it. Are there any marks or company names on it?
