Thanks again mart for the advice. I don't remember how I stumbled onto this site but I'm thankful that I did, the info I've got from you guys have been so valuable to me. After I sell the check protector I might just try my hand at yard sales, flea markets and what we call a jockey lot. Our jockey lot is about like the one in Canton, Texas.

Thanks for the info and the advice KC. Just a little history on my Dad, he owned his own business for over 60 years and I can now see how the check protector would have helped him. My Grandfather had a clock and watch business and that's how my Dad made a living for so long. Again thanks for the info KC and I think I'll try my hand at EBAY.

Thanks mart for the good Ebay info. I buy off of Ebay and use the Paypal but that's cut and dry, it comes right out of my checking acct. I understand what you're talking about using a different account and just transferring the money into it. I may try to sell something of far less value just to get my feet wet so to speak. ;D  Thanks again

Thank you Greenacres, its in excellent condition. I've never sold on Ebay, I might give it a try just to see what it would bring and like mart said put a reserve on it. Thanks guys for all y'all help. :)

My dad passed away and in his treasures was  a rare (some research done and found out what it is but not the value of it) Unger Brothers sterling silver Indian Chief Check Protector. Thanks for any help. On the back it has Pat. Jan.7.1902 and marked sterling silver.
