another family member was told arthur brought it back from the first world war i dont know the true story so could it be by anyone else? any body seen any designs like this before?

is it threaded or is it for a push fit pipe could be a multi direction coupler for pipe work you would cut the ends off to which direction you wanted hole in the middle could be to insert a bar to hold when tightening just a guess though from a construction manager

he definitely lived in Gloucester later Birmingham and died in the 1980s? or 70s apparently made art deco pieces it weighs 12.5 pounds any one have any ideas on value although it a family piece that we intend to keep not sure were arthur was born it was around war time so he could have been from anywhere?

by Arthur gold from Gloucester a friend of the family made it as an apprentice piece approx 100 years ago can anyone tell me about him any other work? its 12 ins long and 6 in high retriever / gun dog ive tried to paste a pick but have not got the hang of it yet
