Yeah that's definitely the same one. Has been taken off the 1st dibs website though so no more info. Seems to be a bit earlier than 1920 and possibly Bauhaus.

DAG Rotterdam, who have one for sale, emailed me back with a price of 775 euro. I think they may be pushing it a bit but I paid nowhere near that kind of money . Hopefully on to a winner

I can't find the page that dated one as 1920 but I have just found this page;

http://www.dagrotterdam.nl/vintage_and_design.php?product=962ab3ea89

I have emailed the company to ask for a price for theirs.

There are no markings anywhere on the kettle as far as I can see though here are some more pics.

Hi,
I have come across this really unusual square based copper kettle. I am struggling to find much info on it online apart from a rough date of 1920. I really like it but would be interested in knowing its value. Any info much appreciated.

 Cheers
Martin

Hi,
Anyone know if these are of any value? Its about 3ltr in volume, clear glass with POISON embossed on both sides of the neck. Never seen one as big as this before.

Hi
I have acquired 2 leather fronted  boards but I am not exactly sure of what they have been used as. They are both just over 2ft and have a rounded top. One has printed
'THE PALACE', 'Warranted English Manufacture', 'Knife Board'.
So they are for some kind of knife.

The other has a thin metal plaque of the Glasgow coat of arms at the top and embossed with
' J&A McF. G.'.

It doesn't look as though they have been for cutting. Possibly sharpening?

Any info or suggestions are much appreciated.

Thanks

Martin
