Meissen, Germany.  Can we see the top of the dish?

I have not have or seen too many aalto's chairs, but I have to agree with awhitetriangle.  On the ones I encountered, hardware was not visible.

Nice painting, but before proceeding with restoration, I would spend good amount of time researching the painting.  As Mart pointed out this may not be financially feasible.  However, I think this painting may be earlier than XIX century.

Thank you! I searched Kralik and Loetz patterns, but I have failed to find a similar one.  Possibly a smaller studio glass...

Antique Questions Forum / Help with Threaded Glass Vase Identification
« on: February 03, 2015, 09:31:57 pm »
Recently, I bough a small collection of glass vases and bowls.  Some were Steuben, Loetz, and Kralik.  Some were simply junk.  Here is a one that I am perplexed by and cannot attribute it.  I've searched my books and  internet and not I am hitting a wall.  Vase is about 7 inches tall.  Any help out there?

Thank you!

I believe these are French dating back to late XIX century.  I used to have a crystal ink well with very similar (if not the same) cast bronze decorations.  If I am not mistaken, mine was marked France on the bottom.
