BTW the back paint is the same color and applied just as unprofessionally as the sides of the drawer, it is only 80% painted.

On the exterior, Someone painted the back of it. there is a paint dribble smudge at the center of the bottom cross brace/facer and a smaller smudge 2" below the top about center. Interior, the insides of the drawer frames and on the sides of the drawers. Some on top of two of the drawers. I did not remove the spots or the other paint. I am afraid to damage the finish that's on it. The surface is not slick you can feel he grain of the wood.

Thank You for responding.

I just picked up this Chest of Drawers. I am not knowledgeable at this but I find this item interesting. It appears to have its original finish, dove tail drawers, the key holes are real locks. There has been some paint or substance applied to the inner frame of the drawer holes, (Possible to help them side easier) he bottom front plate has a screw through the leg to the plate. some discoloration, especially where I tried to remove the old water rings. I put new aged bronze knobs on it. two drawers have a small screw hole at the center, possibly an old decoration.

OK Please can someone estimate and age, a style, is this, "tiger Oak?  And an estimated value range. Thank You.
