(My previous post that did not go through)

Hey guys, thanks for the hospitality! :D

I have excitedly read what you have said and I will look into it further in a little while.

I'm just posting now to add some more pictures!

Yes, there are some markings. One of them says 33. Is that 1933?
The other marking is a fine print, I can not make any sense of it. Perhaps one of you can.
Also, what about the other side of the compact, it has a paper on it? What was the purpose of that?

Antique Questions Forum / Chypre de coty powder box

Hello! First, sorry for the duplicate posts, it wasn't my intention.

My Father got this box from a trade 30 years ago, from a man who's profession was to sell antiques. From what I understand, it says it is a powder box with the scent of "Chypre Coty" perfume. It is silver except for the part which has the text in it, which is iron.
Does anyone have any more info on the box? Thank you!

I too think it is a drinking vessel. Thank you very much for your response! :D

Antique Questions Forum / Help me identify this copper... vessel, please.

Hello, dear forum! Thank you for clicking in my thread. :D

I have come across this copper vessel, which I am very curious to know more about. What could this have been used for? It can hold about 200ml.

I am a total newbie, what I have gathered is that it is probably vintage, roughly 50 years old or so. I would love some comments.

My inclination is that this was in a kitchen somewhere... I found other people who had similar objects, but in Portuguese websites. I live in Portugal and this is from where the object came from.

Thank you for the attention. May all who read this have a great day. :D
