I've been able to post pictures by uploading them to photobucket and then pasting their URL into the image tags provided in the reply page here.

Found you lock. There is not much info on it but I'm still digging.

I think the patent date is March 1870 but not 100% sure.

Probably the remnant of a patent date.

"PATDMAR1878"

National pride is a car-wash company and that is their logo. Other than that I know nothing about the company, how old they are, that particular glass etc.

This is only the box and key, no telegraph inside. This is an early one, early 1900's if my research is correct. Cast iron, marked new york, citizens key.

There is quite a bit of interest and info on the internet about these, but I'm having trouble putting a value on it. There have been a few out to auction but I cannot see what they actually sold for and most of those auctions are almost 10 years old.

Any idea what may be a fair asking price? Thank you.

So cool.

Good guess with the Texas origin. I believe that the ring body is a Texas A&M University ring and it's probably quite old.

I'm going to keep searching and if I find anything more I will let you know.

Here is a 1918 example.

I don't know a lot about these but using a google search there are a lot of similarities to vicotrian/edwardian cameo jewelry, and the color looks like angelskin coral. I haven't found the exact one you have but if you have some time to search the pictures you may find it.

Thank you all very much for the help.

I still cannot confirm that these are grave or service markers. I can't find anything on google using similar search terms.

I understand what you mean about old fencing, that may be what they are but I also have not been able to confirm that.

The dimensions are 5.5 inches long, 5.5 inches wide and the middle is 2 inches squared.

I always thought that these cast iron stars were architectural stars from an old brick building, but as you can see, the holes in the middle of the stars are square and every architectural star I've ever seen has a small round hole in the middle.

My father got these from his grandmother, and he has a vague memory of them being something rescued from a civil war cemetery or something civil war related. But we just don't know.

Your help is appreciated thank you very much!

It was in the basement of my father's childhood home in Waltham, Massachusetts.

I haven't been able to find its like using google, so this one is a mystery to me. Anyone know what this is and possible value? It's 5 inches wide and 6 inches tall.

Thank you very much for your time.
