I was told that it was owned by the grandfather from the time he was a boy. I should do some research on just when he came to the USA.
We also have the wood carrying box.

There is a beautiful inlay on the back. Such small pieces used.

I only know that it was brought from Austria. By eather a great grandfather or a great great grandfather. I have heard it could have been made anytime from the late 1700's through the mid 1800's. That site is the only information I found. I hoped that someone might know more or point me in the right direction.

Would anyone know anything about this? I cannot find any information on when the company was in business.

Okay, I was hoping that there would have been some changes in the hard wear or supports for the drop leaves.

I just got the table for $35 including the delivery of it. I have looked to see if I could find a site that might give me an idea of what to look for for the time period.

I just got a Duncon Phyfe style table. Can anyone tell me what to look for to help determine a guesstimate on the age?

I have read that before. I agree with you. I didn't pay anywhere near what those people want.she has everything. If I did a few tweaks and put a drive belt on her, she would work.
