Yup, looks like it will stay in the family for it's ~100th (+/-) birthday coming up.

Cool to know it's history!

Thanks again for your comments!

Happy New Year!

Hi all,

I have an update. I was talking to a reputable family member about this table and its history today.

Was mentioned to me that this was a wedding gift to my great-grandparents. =) So really happy to hear that!

The date when they were married? November 24, 1917. (note: In 1917, this was the Saturday before Thanksgiving)

Discuss amongst yourselves if it was possible that this table was built ~ ca.1917.

Cheers and happy new year!

Dimensions are:

$200? Is that on the high end?

Cheers!

Hi,

Have an old piece that apparently was very special to my family handed down over the generations and now with my parents having finally passed on, I realized that I never did ask them about the significance of this piece.

I am in the middle of downsizing and am considering selling this piece, depending on what it is and what it's value is.

Anyone that could offer some advice, please let me know. Interested in any info such as style, woods used, etc. Picture links below.

Thanks!
