Antique Questions Forum / Sheffield Knife set need help

i am trying to come up with some research for a friend.
he has a 4 piece knife set with serving fork carving knife and sharpener in the original box.
this is what i have on it:
was given as a wedding presant on July 8th, 1931 (has a letter stating this)
has only been used one time
the set is 4 steak knives, a serving fork, a carving knife, and a sharpener.
stainless steel blades
crown set
made in Sheffield England
24kt gold plated
please if anyone can help or point me in the direction it would be awesome. thank you
