Antique Questions Forum / 1800s sugar holder?

I just purchased what I believe to be a sugar holder from the 1800s when brown sugar was formed in cones & stored in a wooden plank that had cone-type holes drilled in it.  What is the name of this contraption, and do you know of anywhere that has a picture of it for me to verify?
