I have an old Timex, woman's watch, complete with guarantee, instructions, case, etc... Maybe it is worth 100's of thousands? No? Come on, it ends in "ex".

Sorry, mart, I didn't explain that properly. By "circle R", I meant a brand as in animal brand. I have looked at this necklace for years, and if there is any identifier on it, other than the brand, it is hidden to me.  It's clearly not gold, but the bead caps could be. It's not magnetic, though the chain is, with the drop being slightly magnetic, and it never tarnishes. I am not even sure what the beads are. Probably glass, but no scratches, which considering it's age, is impressive. My step-grandmother took very good care of it, as do I, now.

I did remember that Trash table has cuts for dowels that I never figured out, could be parts from another table, and that the legs still have remnants of old varnish. Whether they were original to the table top, I don't know, but I do know that only part of the table was sanded. Signs of varnish show, but it was sanded down. I assume that was where it was repaired. Possibly part of one leaf, but I kind of doubt that. Possibly the other leaf was a complete fix, but also doubtful because the sanded varnish matches. On and on go the possibilities. These are the times that I wish my dad had lived longer so I could have asked him, or that I had asked my grandfather when I was an adult. But who thinks of a small table that sets quietly in a corner of a bedroom?

Oh, I also have a photo of a small/miniature dresser. Another one that I know nothing about. It was a toy dresser or a doll dresser? Possibly made by my grandfather, or maybe belonged to my paternal grandmother. Mysteries abound.

I do, I also have speakers so I can listen to my music. Little story: I was given a trash table when I was little. I call it a trash table because my grandfather literally found it at the dump, took it home, cleaned it up and repaired it (it has new wood, but I have never been able to tell where), then gave it to me for x-mas. I was using it as my monitor table (I had an old crt tv, so it was not on the table), but whenever I got up, I had to sit in a perfect position, lift the table with monitor, move it back, then I could stand. I had done this for several years and after dumping table and monitor over a couple of times, I decided enough. So I looked for a rolling table, found a good one at an amazing price, bought it, and now? Trash table sits safely away from me. 
Trash table is a drop leaf table, not even two feet high. I've had it... let me do the math... 51 years. omg, I'm that much older already?  I doubt the little thing will ever be worth more than the sentimental value for me, but that is priceless.

 I understand. It's too bad that happens, but doesn't surprise me that some people post and run. I tend to get lost in what I am doing, so have been known to disappear for weeks at a time. Though on the boards where I admin, that is because I am working behind the scenes. On other boards, I just don't have that much to say of interest.

If I can take a decent photo of the necklace, I'll post it, it is another one that is difficult to search. It's clearly a circle R, with what looks like a chain over the R (I can't remember the naming order), but I keep getting new stuff. Do you know how many circle pendants with an R, there are? Tons. 

Don't know how much knowledge I have as a "jackie of all trades", but I always try to help.

Hi mart, and thank you for the welcome. 

I have my computer and my tv attached to a rolling table, which rolls up to my couch, which can be too comfy if I am sleepy. Some nights I wake up leaning back from the table, tv on, computer asleep and me thinking I should have just gone to bed.
You know furniture? I should take a photo of a table that was my mother's, passed on to her from her aunt or her mother, who got it from their mother. At least, that is what my mother always told me.
Yeah, it takes time to find stuff. Which is why I didn't worry about coming back right away. If someone knew what they were, that would be great, if they didn't, I would be no worse off than I was. Thankfully, someone knew. 
I'm just gonna ask, do you frequent Kovel's?

Anyone here know jewelry? Just kidding, most of what I have is costume jewelry. Though I do have one piece that I got from my step-grandmother, that I cannot figure out. oh shoot. All of this reminded me that I forgot to take a photo of my grandfather's patented... wooden box. I can't remember what it actually is, other than a wooden box. I wanted to look up the patent number. My poor brain.

Thank you, mart. Yep, lots of days like that. I am still cleaning out my mother's house (3 years and counting), sorting, tossing, researching, saving... on and on... plus getting a loan to purchase the place. I can't begin to say how many times I have fallen asleep at my computer, or yes, shut it down and realized I forgot to send an e-mail or tweak some code, or whatever.

I know in the past I have found some sites and couldn't find them again because I hadn't saved the sites.  Hopefully that is what happened or they have gotten busy!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have been on forums for years. The one thing that kind of bugs me, even if I understand it, is the poster that comes back after an hour, maybe a day, with the remark: "Nobody?" or "Is everyone ignoring me?" or "Bump!" etc... I am not that person, so I gave it time before I checked back. I admin three boards, sometimes that means I am away from boards that simply interest me, etc... So you are right, I didn't ignore, I simply gave it time for someone to respond. I had no idea there was a set response time limit that I agreed to.

Many of these "Southern Belle" type prints were by Turner Manufacturing Co. from Chicago, and date back to the 1940's.

OMG! Thank you, Rauville. I can't begin to say how many searches I did using the actual photo, and lucky me, got to look through a lot of figurines.    That is just amazing, and a relief. It's just nice to know what these prints are, other than two prints that hung in the basement my entire life (which probably saved them from fading).

At least for me. I have tried to find these online, so many times, so many ways, but apparently I am missing that one word that will get me these as what they are: Prints. Every search gets me figurines. To be fair to search, they look like figurines.

So, my first post is a request for help. And "Hi". 

Adding, I am new, so perhaps the images are here, but don't show in a preview? I going to post and see, I guess.
