what kind of symbol is above the word ardalt? Is it pre war? I am having the same problem with an ardalt bowl. the numbers 799b are on the back. I will check the ardalt book and get back with you later on the ardalt.

I have a square shaped bowl by Ardalt that is said to be pre war. It is surrounded by brass metal with countries flower on each side. It has the number 799B on the bottom. It also has brass claw feet. It is inlaid with gold.
