thanks...I guess I got ripped off since I paid over $1000 for it from my neighbors who needed to get rid of it & said they paid $1800 for it....

great..so it looks like it might be a hutch? It has velvet lined shelves so this would be for china? Any idea how I can find out what it is worth?

It has 2 glass doors open up to 4 shelves lined with a red velvet. There is a large draw on the bottom. I believe this is very unique piece because I have tried to find pieces like it but have had no luck..any information would be great!

Measures: 51" across x 60 1/2 (h) x 17 1/2 (deep)
