Antique Questions Forum / Cedar Chest made by Acme Chests

Hi: I have what I believe is an older Cedar Chest. It is made out of what appears to be solid mahogany, claw type feet and red cedar inside with copper hinges.  There is a small plate on the top of the inside of the lid that says: Acme Chests red cedar trademark - then - Excel them all - then below that - Acme will make good or we will - then - Niles, MI USA.  I have searched everywhere and cannot find anything about this company, nor another cedar chest made by this company. Has anyone ever heard of them? Thanks so much!
