Hi everyone! What a great site!
My husband and I bought an old chest at an estate sale recently and we could not find out how old the chest actually is. It is a red cedar chest made by Ed. Roos Company of Forest Park, Illinois. The patent number on it reads- 1896823. The serial number is 44219. We love it and it is in beautiful condition. We just wanted to know exactly how old it is. Anyone with any knowledge of this information would be very much appreciated.
THANKS!
