Hi everyone,
My brother recently aquired this horse and we'd love to learn more about it. First off, it's large, about 4' tall, a child fits good in the saddle. It must weigh 200 pounds or so. It appears to be made of aluminum or brass perhaps, we're not real sure. There are no maker marks or signatures that we can find on it. The feet appear to have been mounted on something at one time. It first reminded me of a carousel horse, but it weighs too much, and is not as cartoonish as most of those. The paint work on it is very detailed. There's a knot in the tail, not sure what that stands for, if anything. Anyway, I'm rambling a bit, but any help would be great. I've searched all over the internet without much luck. Thanks for any info you can provide.
