Antique Questions Forum / LOEWE Bracelets - anyone know anything about Loewe?

Hi
I'm a complete newbie at this. My girlfriend picked up a couple of thick bracelets at a car boot sale and on closer inspection they are both stamped 'Loewe'. I searched the internet and found this to be what appears quite a prestigious Spanish fashion house.
Having looked at their website and the history of their logos it would appear one of the bracelets in from the 1940's and the other circa 1950's. Other than the Loewe website i can find very little information on the brand, values etc or previously sold items. All i can find is websites trying to sell fake Loewe handbags!
If anyone has any specific knowledge of Loewe or their braclets it would be gratefully accepted
