I have 3 dolls that my grandmother gave me.  They are very old.  So old I cant even find a stamp on the back of the neck of one.  One in particular is a shirly temple doll that  says on the back of her neck "Shirley Temple 18".  My grandmother told me the story behind all three dolls.  Her father worked for the phone company when she was about 6 years old.  He was in Brentwood working on someones house and there was a bunch of trash bags out on the curb waiting to be picked up by the garbage man.  As he was leaving he asked about the dolls in the trash to the man who owned the house.  " I have a 6 year old daughter is it allright if I take these dolls home to her if you're just going to throw them away?"  The man replied "I would love nothing more"  The man turned out to be Shirley Temples father.  The dolls belonged to her.  My grandmother says if we had the story in writing we could be millionaires but I am trying to find out how much they are worth in any case one like I said is the Shirley Temple doll, the other is another old doll by the name of Jackie (if thats of any help) her eyes move and blink, and the third also has the moving eyes long brown hair but no stamp of any kind I know nothing on her.  If anyone could help me to find this kind of information out or where or who to take them to I would be very grateful.
