D&B Antiques - Thanks for the information. That's quite a surprise because I never heard of such a thing. It's always been used as a child's night light in my family. I'm 70+ and it was my older brothers before me. I am certainly going to keep it in the family. Apparently the German mfg made figures for someone else who made them into fragrance lights. I still haven't found a mfg that goes with the marking. I must be getting senile because I never noticed the fragrance reservoir and vents in the top of one of the monkey's head. Even if I had I would not have know what it was for.
