Antique Questions Forum / Norwegian Tea Cart (50's?)

My grandparents brought this teacart in Norway during the 1950's. I would appreciate any input regarding its history or value.  It is 36" long, 16" wide and 24" high.  It is tiled with a map of Norway on the top, and a smaller map on part of the bottom tier.  Thanks in advance.

Antique Questions Forum / "Rose Jar?" (links to pics)

I recently inherited this item from my grandmother.  The only history I have on it is that my great-grandmother referred to it as a "rose jar" and that it has been in our family for at least five generations.  It's very heavy and approx 19" tall with no discernible markings.

Does anyone have any information that could help me out?  Much appreciated!
