Looking for the origin of or any information related to a 3D porcelain picture with "Little Nell and her Grandfather 'The Wanderers'" written across the bottom. The depicted scene is from the Dickens novel "The Old Curiosity Shop", but aside from that I have no other details. Any ideas on the year when this may have been made?

Hi all,

I'm new to the board. My computer-illiterate mother has tasked me with identifying and getting rid of some of the junk  she has accumulated around the house. Mostly I'm looking for help identifying...every thing.

The first thing I have is a porcelain figurine stamped "9949" with the word 'Germany' inked across the bottom. It stands about 5" tall and  measures 5" across. Any idea what the proper name or who the manufacturer of this item is? Many thanks.
