Antique Questions Forum / Tire Ashtray Collection
« on: January 10, 2009, 12:42:25 pm »
I have an old tire ashtray collection and am wondering how much they're worth. There are 8 total.
#1 is a Goodyear and says G167 Unisteel.
#2 is a Goodyear and says Wrangler Radial, the ashtray says Frontier 500 1982 Las Vegas to Reno.
#3 is a Bridgestone and says RD-207 Steel, Steel belt radial 195/70 HR14 207V Tubeless.
#4 is a B.F. Goodrich and says Silvertown, Lifesaver Radial, and HR70-15.
#5 says Mohawk Ultissimo, the ashtray says Mohawk Tires Green State Tire, INC. 4031 S.E. 17th Portland, Oregon. Phone 234-9861.
#6 is a Goodyear Flight Eagle.
#7 says McClaren Autocrat Custom Built.
#8 is another Goodyear and says Power Cushion. The ashtray says Go Goodyear Go H.M. Peterson Tire Co., INC. The Men Who Know Tires Best. Colville, Wash. MU 4-4596.

The pics are of the first four tires in that order. I have pics of all of them if you'd like to see them.

I'm pretty sure that none of the ashtrays have ever had a cigarette put out in them as my dad has never smoked. All the tires have good tread on them (like new ;D)!

Any and all info is greatly appreciated!

Antique Questions Forum / Old Bourbon Bottle Still Full
« on: January 10, 2009, 12:23:24 pm »
I found an old bourbon bottle that is still full and sealed. It says Old Cabin Still Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey on the label. It has a copyright below that's probably not visible in the picture that is 1939. It also says Distilled for and bottled by Stitzel-Weller Distillery Louisville, Kentucky. It is 90 Proof and is 4/5 of a Quart. The bottom of the bottle says: Original Design from the Cabin Still Collector's Gallery 1969. Any idea how much this is worth? Thank you.

Antique Questions Forum / Velveeta Box
« on: January 09, 2009, 09:22:23 pm »
I have an old Velveeta Cheese box. It's wood and is for a 2lb block of cheese. I actually just bought a block of Velveeta cheese tonight and it is the same size as the box. It says Kraft Cheese Company on the side. It has no lid though. Could some body please tell me an approximate value and where I might be able to sell it? Thank you!
