what it value the last time i found one it sold for 2,100 for just 4 peices back in 2002 not counting the turren
i contact reed/barton and they basically told me good luck on finding it that it is a very hard set to find i benn looking for 14yrs now and i have the coffee pot and creamer

: Marked Reed & Barton, circa 1873 In the Viking taste, comprising: coffee pot, teapot, cream jug, covered sugar bowl, and waste bowl, each raised on four feet, the bodies engraved with Nordic designs centering an engraving of a Viking long boat, the angular loop handle with psuedo cuneiform script, the covers surmounted by seated lions. The coffee pot 11in. (28cm.) high. (5) NOTES The design for this teapot is illustrated in American Silverplate, Dorothy and Ivan Rainwater, 1988, p. 109. The designer George Gill incorporated an eclectic mix of styles into his works. The original price of a six piece tea and coffee service was $60.00 in 1877. A silver-plated soup tureen currently in the Dallas Museum of Art, which matches this tea service in form and style is shown in Charles Venable, Silver in America, 1994, fig. 6.57. ...

hi i just bough an item at a flee market it is mark reed and barton 1765 i think it a waste bowl or planer is the 1765 the year or catalog number and what is the pattern name. i know i gotten a good deal i only paid 2.00 dols for it

i need some info. i have a chance to buy this set  for 40.00 but the only info i have from the sell is


.There are 3 symbols on the botton: a crown, a S with a slash over it and a flag. All in a row. I suppose the crown means made in England? Below the 3 symbols at the right corner seems like 2 letters c h, but I am not sure

the 2100.00 dols is for the 4 peices but i dont know how much the other 2 peices are.
