Hi there im new to this forum so firstly hello everyone im Rachael,
Recently got quite a few items passed down to me through the family and im desperate to know about one particularity, Ive searched in vein to find out about the tea set but all i have come up with was a photo of the mark from the bottom and a date and manufacturers name, then i draw a blank nothing at all, my main reason to looking into this is to know weather i should get it insured as currently it is just sat ontop of one of my kitchen cupboards, so far this is what ive found about it...
about the company
1907 founded by Benjamin F Hunt & Son of Boston, who had previously had an interest in Benjamin F Hunt & Son in Loket; its name was Egerlander Porcellanfabrik Elbogen, GmbH.
1908 the owners were Ludwig Engel & Son.
1911 Richard Kampf bought the factory and Richard Dieterle became a partner, the name was Porzellanfabrik Rudolf Kampf GmbH, Grunlas, and the brand RKG. The letters RKG represent Rudolf Kampf of Grunlas
date of the tea set
1928-1939
please any information or value would be gratefully received ive tried my best to get the best photos i can and also the entire set is intact with no marks or chips or anything.
