Thanks cougar and wendy.I was able to find two more at different auction sites, one of them sold for about 300.00,which I thought was pretty good, and the writing was not as clear. The other was still up for auction, and said the handle had been replaced, high bid,so far,was $185,and I think it had several days left, but so far,I've not been able to find any history on the company in Canton.I'll keep looking, and I'll let ya'll know. Thanks for the link wendy,it looks like a good site,I'm going to look back at it.

Thanks again,God bless,Keith

This is a stone jug.It has a label of a Whiskey Co. in Canton,Mississippi.I can't find anything of a company by that name.I know the jug would have very little value, the handle is broke, and it's not in the best of shape. It has been in my wife's family many, many years.Canton is not far from our home, and it would be nice to know a little history. The name looks like Vic. Trolio Whiskies

Thanks for any help,God bless,Keith

Thanks for all the advice.I did rub it down good with glove oil,my daughter plays ball,so I had plenty of that.I still may get something a little more heavy, and rub it in good.
Thanks KC,for that idea,I think I will print that out, just in case my children want to know.

Thanks for the reply,raroo99.I don't know what these are worth, but after asking on the link that KC posted, they confirmed what I thought I already knew, that is,they are over 100 years old.I am proud to have them, and will pass them down to my children.

Thanks,God bless,Keith

I don't know if you watch the tv program,Pawn Stars, but there was one,the other night that looked very much like yours.Don't know if it was the same thing, but it was not in near as good of condition as yours. It was beat up,with holes shot in it,and a most of the parts were missing .The Pawn Shop purchased it,I think they gave him, about $2,000.They took it and had it completely restored. It cost him $2,800 to have it restored. When he went to pick it up the restorer told him,he could easily get $7,800 for it.It sure was worth a lot more than i would have expected.I'd say you have a nice item.

God bless,Keith

My father-in-law and I found these,in an old dairy barn, that was to be torn down.We found them a few years ago,but he just let me have them. They belong to my wife's great grandfather. We also found some pliers for pulling teeth, along with some bottles of novacaine,(Her Great Grandpaw was known as the community dentist)I was not able to find much at all on the razors.
The first is a Pipe Razor.I can't make out,all that is stamped on the blade, but it's made by,George Wostenholm & Son.After that it has Manufactures of the.....,that's all I can make out.The one with the black handle has, A.Vittur Co Ltd.,New Orleans,La.,Made in Germany. It has the original box with it.The strap is in pretty good shape,to be that old.I hope the pic.,will show what is stamped on it.

I would like to know, about how old,all this is,and maybe a value, even though I could not part with any of it.

This nutcracker was given to my son by my Grandmother.I don't think it is old, however I do remember seeing it in her home when I was a kid.He was asking me if I knew anything about it,so I told him I would ask you all and see.He was just curious, and now he's got me curious.

Thanks for any help,God bless,Keith

Thanks Wendy,I have a strainer just like that one.It also was here when we moved in.I would guess that is what my Aunt used it for.Would you have an idea as to how old it is? Would the two pieces have come together when purchased?

Thanks,and God bless,Keith
