I've put this item up for sale on ebay, started it @ $500 because I am still unsure of its value, so I guess its value is whatever someone pays for it lol

anyone have any idea of how old this might be, I know it was around in the 70s, not sure how much earlier it could be from.

I really appreciate you all for commenting & look forward to more input, I will try to get some more clear pictures put up soon.
Does this appear to have any value? I know it is a beautiful piece, but do not have any clue to its true value and I can not afford to have it appraised.

I hope these are clearer than the others. last time i had the goblet in one hand the camera in the other.. this time both were on solid surface
some are still blury =\
*** END OF UPDATE**

I've had this goblet for years now, passed on through family of a friend. The goblet is believed to be Napoleon's wedding goblet. The story I was told behind it, is that it was bought from a William Hearst auction, which he brought it from France to California. It was once appraised at around $115,000 about 10 years ago(I was told). Then, I went to a local free appraisal show and the guy said it was a reprint from the late 1980s. he said that there were 2 originally and one is in a museum in france & the other is unkown of its location. He appraised it at around$500(after looking at it for less than a minute, I was in a long line). My friend whom I received this from says there is no way this is a reprint as they remember it from before the 80s, at their grandmother's house. Recently their grandmother passed away & there were many items containing tags from the hearst sale.

 So my questions are:
What is this thing & how much is it worth lol

I've posted more pictures of the goblet here:
http://www.dawgsays.com/pictures/goblet.html
I can take more pictures if needed.

other information:
There are 2 scenes & 2 potraits on the goblet
its about 5-6inches tall & about 4-5 inches wide.
appears to be hand painted
there is no signature on it, that I can see.

I have searched all over the internet for any picture of a goblet resembling this or any art that is the same, with no luck. Hoping someone here can help clear things up. every time I walk by this thing I wonder..

any input would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks!

Maybe the glass or art will be a give-away to someone. Hopefully!  ;D
