I'm going to clean the napkin ring with silver polish,  I'll post a pic when im done,  the clock is in workin condition and there is no damage on the face.  The lamp is in mint condition with no touch ups (must be the picture).  Thank you mart and ghopper1924,  I appreciate the feedback.

Thank you very much for all of your help and information!  I'm going to try to post pictures, having trouble right know but will either tonight or tomorrow.  I did check out the counterfeit and it looks nothing like mine.  I'm just hesitant to take it to a coin dealer at this time.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can give me advice on taking good pictures of coins to post on a topic I opened today.  I am having trouble taking clear photos, for some reason the picture doesn't come out there is a streak of light in every picture no matter the angle or lighting.

Thank you!

Bumbul, you never answered if that was you on Craigslist.
According to that post, it has the very same information as yours.

I agree on this one because Arthur Murray wasn't the author....he filed for the copyright - now that I see a pic of the details of the one on Craigs list.
This same book is held at the Library of Congress http://catalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local&BBID=7305825&v3=1
with the file card reading:   http://lccn.loc.gov/16018439
The book was published in 1800 and was a translation from Italian into English by John Payne (author) exclusively for the trade/London.
There are others held at other libraries in the US.

Sorry if I wasn't clear but that is not my book on craigslist and as of yet I am not trying to sell it, thank you for your help and information, greatly appreciated!

Leopold Fleming (1831 -1911) was a great artist/printmaker.  His works are all over the place.

The references I find the Arthur Murray author is an author with the last name Chisolm, A. M. (Arthur Murray).
Remember they used pen names back in the time - so this could be him!

Is this yours?

Back in the days they did use pen names but I wasn't so sure he was the author, thank you for the wealth of info, and as of yet I haven't tried to sell it I just wanted to know some info.  Thank you!
