I see a few sewing notions there. Is it made of sewing machine parts? Wow, someone put alot of work into that! I'll bet there isn't another one like it! Ahh, I see your note ...made of different parts.

wowsa!!!

Thank you for your inquiry on Roseland's "The Fortune Teller."
The painting is a fine example of the artist's best work. Signed and dated '99 it is in excellent unlined condition. Housed in a beautiful antique frame that appears original to the painting. priced at $26,000.00.

KC is right...it's by Harry Roseland. "The Fortune Teller"  Could be worth alot of something if original. Wow

This site has the same painting,   1899.

Hi ...thanks guys :)

I have often wondered if the table was a 'marriage'. Sometimes it appears to be the same color and in bright light it looks lighter than the base.  From looking at the underside it seems to be made for it. So...I don't really know.

The vases are VERY thin, almost frail...I am totally surprised that they aren't broken yet lol.

Thanks for your help.

Hi...do you think it could be an old mouth bit for a horse?

Oh ...it's for pipes or logs,
I see it now!

I have a small table and would like to know if someone can help identify the type of wood and maybe give an approximate value? The table is about 24 inches tall.

I also have two matching Vase's, no markings on them, about 9 1/2 inches tall. These have a very pleasant high pitched ring. I am not an expert but I would think they are porcelain. I have searched for ages on these two vase's and can find nothing at all. If anyone can tell me anything I would be very grateful for your help.

I am trying to figure out how to make the photos smaller. I'll work on it.

Thanks for your help :) Much appreciated.
Yes the table's have a type of cardboard underneath. The glass tops are actually mirrored glass. Alot of darkening and dark spots on the taller one, not as much on the smaller. As far as their history, I do know that they were in the house as early as the mid 1950's but I don't know anything about them before that date. I believe there must have been 3 at one time since there is a 'nest' in the smaller table for another to fit in.

The Long 450 mile Yard Sale is next week. :)
Thanks you guys :)

Wow fast service! Thank You
I found this Herend dish at replacements.com http://www.replacements.com/webquote/HERDOB.htm it has a blue rim. Next to it is this one, http://www.replacements.com/webquote/HERDOGO.htm  no photo though, but the description seems to be the same as mine. No value on either of them.

Didn't mean for the photos to be so big!
I have looked for ages for this type of table and can't find anything like it.

I saw several Herend dishes similar but with other designs. Some with birds that have sold for up to 500 dollars. Can't find anything like it in this gold trim color.

If anyone can help when you have time I would truly appreciate it.

I have a Herend China Dish,  if anyone can tell me the value I would be very grateful.  Also, I have 2 small glass top tables with etchings along the edges. The smaller one slides up under the larger. Does anyone know of the value of these items? Thank You for your help.  Herend photos are located here : http://s249.photobucket.com/albums/gg234/stalkedwhisper/Herend/
