Antique Questions Forum / Violin, Very Old! G.Abell

I have in my possetion a very old looking violin.

The inscription inside (written in pencil) says:

G Abell
Manchester
1890

As far as i can see there are no other markings on the piece and i have not been able to find any information about it.

Any info of value (if any) would be greatly appreciated.
