I've taken a photo of the stamps on the back, not great quality but the best I could do. I've tried researching the hallmarks but I havn't come up with anything.

Hi there, I'm in Australia but I have quite a few Scottish ancestors from way back. The links that Saphire sent are great, one looks really similar. Thanks guys.

Sorry, not good at attaching photo's. I'm including another "side on" photo which might help. It's about 2 inches long and has stamps on the back which are pretty worn and hard to read.

My Mum gave me this for my birthday and told me it's been in the family for years. No-one's sure where it came from or even what it actually is!
Has anyone got any ideas?
