Thanks for the information.  My late Uncle exaggerated somewhat at times.  Since my Grandparents were married in 1917, there is now way that this could have been given to them as a wedding present.  It was most likely something that was won at the fair or amusement park.  Thanks, I really appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I am interested in obtaining information on a vase that I was told by my Uncle that the vase was given to my grandparents as a wedding present in 1917.  The vase is 12 1/2 inches tall, top diameter is 3 3/4 inches, bottom diameter is 4 5/8 inches.  There are two handles at the top of the vase.  It is a floral vase with raised gold outlines on the flowers and leaves.  The most prominent flower looks like a blue Iris.  The only markings on the vase is, Made in Japan. Any help would be appreciated.
