No..... Well I found out that it is from the QING dynasty, prob mid 1800's. Thats all I know right now.

Hi,

Can anybody tell me a bit about this embroidery? I was told it might be from a traditional ladies skirt, the front panel.
 It measures: 15" x 11". It's clearly silk and just beautiful work.

See pics. The Brass Handle reads:

Pat NO D-246.690US Not sure if this relates to the dresser itself though. Or if that is just the patent number for the handles. Its pretty heavy wood, has a slight reddish tint so may be Mahogany. Not sure.

I know it is old as it has been in our family for 4 generations. It seems to be silk, and measures around 11" x 16". It has a signature on the back, not sure who's it is.
